See Example Plans →
  1. 1
    Bridge the Gap

We secure the GCSE algebra that A Level relies on, so new topics have something solid to build on.

  2. 2
    Understand, Don't Memorise

Students learn why methods work, which is what the harder problem-solving questions test.

  3. 3
    Bring Your Own Problems

Students can bring anything from school they're stuck on, and each lesson is tailored to them.

  4. 4
    Past Papers and Mark Schemes

We practise how examiners award marks, so good maths turns into good grades.

Twins, One Tutor, Two Different Maths Brains

I teach twin brothers, aged 17, who came to me in Year 12. Like most students, they found the leap from GCSE to A Level a big one, and they wanted to build confidence before their end-of-Year-12 exams.

Twins, yes. Identical maths brains? Definitely not. So each session is tailored to each of them: they bring whatever they're struggling with, and we work from there.

We take time to understand each student's strengths and weaknesses, and I keep their mum updated so she always knows how things are going.

“I can not compliment highly enough not only his teaching skills but his patience, manner and how personable he is.”Caitlin S., their mum
