Questions

KS2 Maths: Frequently Asked Questions

Is My Child Too Young for a Tutor?

Not at all. Short, friendly lessons can build confidence early, and fixing a gap in Year 4 is much easier than fixing it in Year 9.

How Long Are Lessons for Younger Pupils?

Usually 60 minutes, which suits most primary-aged children. We can adjust this to what your child is comfortable with.

Do You Help With Year 6 SATs?

Yes. We practise the arithmetic and reasoning papers and talk through the style of the questions, so nothing in the SATs feels unfamiliar.

Does a Parent Need to Be Nearby?

Younger pupils are best joining from a shared space at home, and parents are always welcome to sit in.
